While Measured Progress’ Exchange 2003 Server platform was adequate for handling their day-to-day email needs, they knew that it wasn’t designed to be a long-term repository for business critical communications. Their technology department had the responsibility to give end-users limitless access to email histories, while providing a solid infrastructure for the archival of those transactions. They needed a solution that was not only going to be affordable, but also one that would seamlessly integrate with their existing systems as well as be extensible in anticipating future growth.

EMC’s EmailXtender was the ideal solution for meeting Measured Progress’ functional needs and provided many desired features, all in a cost-effective package.

The Measured Progress IT department was able to work closely with the Focus team during the implementation phases. They received hands-on training throughout the process and although the Focus team was able to deliver quickly, the Measured Progress engineers gained the knowledge they needed to complete the installation as well as expand the system’s capabilities in the future.
